Jenn's Pilates training

For the past year, Jenn added Pilates to her regular training routine. We followed her to a class at the beautiful Ann McMillan Pilates studio located in downtown Montreal and had the pleasure of talking with Ann McMillan, her instructor as well as president and founder of the studio.

Series of leg arches
Strengthens thigh muscles and helps with flexibility and focuses on controlling abdominal muscles.
 
Quadriceps stretch
Prevent knee injuries.


 
Groin stretch
Helps improve pelvis flexibility and mobility.
 
Jenn takes a well-deserved break.

 
Shortspine
Stretches the deep muscles in the back.

 
Thoracic extension
Increases and improves back mobility and promotes better posture.
 
Scooter
Controls overall posture.

 
Alegra
Allows Jenn to simulate the position of her body during a jump.
 
Lateral flex with barrel
Prevents knee injuries.
 
Trapezoid massage with ball
A great way to relax.
